Hello!  I am Bertamae Anger Ives, a published author from Western New York.

I am a teacher and organist who has traveled extensively within the United States and to eighteen countries.  Some of these trips were for personal interest, while others were for volunteer work with various relief organizations.  For example, I traveled to Bolivia in 2004 to teach children English and to New Orleans in 2005 to assist with the Hurricane Katrina Relief effort.

I enjoy writing and humor, and won second prize in the Information and Travel category at St. David's Christian Writer's Conference.  My past role as a United Methodist Clergy spouse provides me with opportunities to speak in eight Western New York communities.  To promote my books, I have had invitations to speak in churches, Christian Women’s Clubs, libraries, and bookstores.

This site contains information about me, examples of my writing, current and past book releases, and upcoming events.
